My daughter was turning 6 years old and I wanted to plan a special party for her. She just LOVES Mickey Mouse and all the characters from the Play House.
It’s amazing what you can do with the ideas you can find on Pinterest and a visit to the local discount / dollar stores.
I set up a cupcake decorating table for the kids. I made the cupcakes using different colors of cake mix for a fun marble effect.
I set up some fun Clubhouse inspired games:
Digging for Pluto’s Bones – fill the bucket with sand or rice (I used bird seed so I could reuse it after) and I used dog bones to hide in the bucket
Donald’s Ball Toss – set up a bucket and have the kids toss balls into the bucket
Fishing for Gooey Fish – I found a fishing rod with plastic fish that have magnets attached. If I had not found these, I would have made my own fishing rods and cut out fish shapes and put a paper clip on the mouth of the fish.
I tried to find some Mickey / Minnie Mouse inspired treats for the treat bags. (as I’m sure you’ve noticed, Disney products can be expensive) I’m lucky to have access to a color printer so I made some pictures to decorate the treat bags. I filled the bags with little stamps, stickers, candies and tattoos. I had tubes of bubbles and coloring books for the kids as well.
